I love this book

I was just revisiting this old friend, and wanted to share it with you with my high recommendations.

I adore this book for many reasons, but mostly because it makes the abundant complexity of humanness into a type of poetry. I use this book both in my therapeutic work with clients, as well as in my own personal work. Hopefully you will enjoy its offerings as well. If you're interested in seeing it on please click here

Mom, Can I Draw On Your Picture?

What happens when you combine a mother's drawing with her daughter's? In my opinion, it's incredible. What a fun, whimsical, and refreshing way to look at the potential for art. To see more images and read about this fantastic artist duo please click here

Can there be beauty in abandonment?

It is well known that the term "abandonment" carries with it the undertones of negativity, mistreatment, and abuse. Especially in a therapeutic setting, abandonment is a struggle that warrants much personal work and emotional expression.

For this moment, however, I challenge you to consider such a negative association in a new way. Try to open your mind to the possibility that there are always two sides (at least!) to every story, as well as to every association. I would like to share with you today an inspiring look at some truly breathtaking, meaningful, and beautiful abandoned places. Consider if these places were living, breathing entities...What would their abandonment mean to them, I wonder.
